LAST SEASON: The Lakewood Lancers achieved in 2008 the pinnacle of what the football world thought to be impossible in spite of the many obstacles the team faced early on in their campaign. Lakewood posted a 10-3 record on the grid and besides a tough loss to Poly, the Lancers could have had a shot at the PAC-5 Championship. And that was with an experienced defense, a very potent offense and one of the best quarterbacks Lakewood has ever seen since Mike Rae '69.
