Biography: A junior and all-around performer at Lakewood High with a 2.7 core GPA, Justin is a registered student/athlete with the NCAA Clearinghouse and will graduate in June 2006. He is scheduled to take the SAT exam in May. At 5'11.5" and 225lbs., Justin possesses all the physical tools, athletic ability and toughness wanted in a running back. He is exceptionally quick and agile for his size, sports great vision and anticipation, has the natural ability to cut and bounce to the outside, while displaying the ability to run the ball inside the tackles with consistency.

He played linebacker and started at running back, averaging 9 yards per carry as a sophomore. As a junior, he averaged 6 yards per carry, while showing great hands out of the backfield as well. On January 14, 2005, he was invited to the US Army All-American National Combine in San Antonio, Texas where he competed against other 2006 All-American national prospects.

2004 Junior Season: He earned his second varsity football letter as the starting RB for the CIF-SS Division 1 Lakewood Lancers (Moore League) under Head Coach Mike Christensen. Started all 13 games and rushed for 953 yards on 187 carries and 12 touchdowns. Also had 10 receptions for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of the leading rushers and scorers in the Moore League and led his team this season in rushing yards, carries and touchdowns.
Highlights: Played in nationally televised games. Helped his team advance to the CIF-SS D1 Semi-Finals for the first time in 34 years. Scored touchdowns in all three post season games. Had two best games this season, scoring 3 TD's in each game. Had five games rushing over 100 yards. Honors: Selected CIF-SS 2004 Moore All-League First Team, awarded the team's 2004 Offensive Back of The Year and received the 2004 Century Club of Long Beach Athletics Achievement Award. Member of the Lakewood Football 800lbs.Club. Nominated by teammates to the 2005 Lakewood High School Player Committee, a select group of athletes who are chosen to help mentor the troubled kids in a local elementary school once a week.
Other: A seven year member of the Boy Scouts of America, Justin is a Life Scout in Troop 252 of Long Beach, where he is currently a candidate for the prestigious Eagle Scout Award.
