LAKEWOOD--In our special edition of Sportstown U.S.A., we reflect back on the year when the Lancers were the heavy favorites to win it all. The team fought hard, facing tough Catholic teams in the early going to remain undefeated for most of the '67 season.
The Lakewood Lancers held their sole posession of first place in the intensely competitive Moore League only to be upset in the latter part of one of the best seasons in team history.

Lancers Win Milk Bucket Defensive back Cedric Moore and the Lancers defeated the Mayfair Monsoons back in September of '07 for the right to hoist the trophy.
