Coach Schmida brings over ten years of solid coaching experience. He started his coaching career at Marina High School then moved on to Santiago High School where he was the Defensive Coordinator and they had the best record in over 11 years. He then went to Los Alamitos High School where he coached in league championship games and CIF Semi-Finals and Finalist teams. Coach Schmida was also Defensive Coordinator at Estancia High School where the program qualified for the playoffs, ending a nine year drought. Wayne resides in Huntington Beach with his wife Kelly and his daughter Arielle. Coach Schmida has owned a parking business for the last 16 years.
