Coach Payne is a graduate of Verbum Dei High School where he was a multi-sport varsity athlete playing both football and running track. He went on to play football at the collegiate level at Whittier College and LA Southwest. Coach Payne has been coaching for six years and is married to his wife Leona with whom he has two children, Schuyler and Dylyn.
