Coach Kahn is a 1996 Los Alamitos High School alumnus. As a Freshman at Sonoma State University, he earned All-Conference Honors as a linebacker. After the 1996-1997 season, the football program folded, thus prompting him to finish the remainder of his football career at Humboldt State University as an All-Conference Middle Linebacker. In 2000, Mike was the linebackers coach at Orange High School and then went on to Warren High in 2003 to 2005. In his final two years at Warren, he became the secondary coach. Coach Kahn received his B.A. in Business Administration from CSU Fullerton in 2003.
